About the image

I aimed to showcase Hawaii’s diverse workforce. To achieve this, I asked Lori to don her personal protective equipment and position herself beneath a shady tree in front of heavy machinery. I deliberately underexposed the camera and utilized AD400 to capture a striking and dramatic image of Lori.
