About the image

This is my beautiful granddaughter Ryleigh, who is not a fan of getting in front of the camera. I brought her to the studio and chose a dress from my studio wardrobe. She gave me approximately 5 minutes to take pictures and then she was over it lol! I used my large 86″ PLM which is black and diffused 2x with white cover. Lighting is Einstein. Backdrop is brown canvas. Texture overlay applied during editing. My goal was to capture the innocence and sweetness of my granddaughter at this sweet age of 4 with a timeless, painterly portrait.
