‘Bracing for the winter’. I shot this on a grassy area, under the trees right next to a busy road. It was late autumn and the sun was setting on the right, providing back / rim light. The sun also illuminated the trees in the background for a nice bokeh backdrop. There was a road on the left and an open area with lots of light from the clear sky, providing ideal, soft light from that other direction. It looked like a purposeful soft studio lighting but it was natural and outside. We positioned our little one and my partner threw dry leaves up in the air and as they were falling, I captured this frame.
