About the image

I utilized this metal spiral staircase in Hyde Park area of downtown Boise Idaho and shot from above using my Z8 and Nikon 85mm 1.4 G (w/ the FTZ adapter). It was 8:43 pm and the last shots of the summer evening of 2023. It’s also one of my most favorite. Her pale skin, edgy outfit, and pose complimented the scene along with the cool color tones from shooting in the open shade. My camera angle and lens choice threw the background mostly out of focus but highlighted her gorgeous eyes. The open sky above us on a clear day was our light source.
