Captured this image during the cocktail hour of a wedding in NJ last November. The bride and groom took a break after bridal portraits and I noticed the father of the groom and the groom’s brothers, who were also his best men, enjoying the open cigar bar outside. Earlier in the day, I bonded with the guys, so I approached them and told them I had a cool idea for a shot and asked if they up for the idea, all 3 guys responded “absolutely!” Ad100 (1/8th power) w/o modifier on a nano stand behind the guys about 3 ft. Godox V1 (Full power) handheld by a very tall wedding guest w/ a Magmod Magbounce camera left about 15-20 ft. away. Switched picture control to monochrome. Nikon Z7II, Nikon 85mm 1.8s.
