When this beautiful young lady walked into my studio, I knew I had to start with a beauty shot. Those eyes! This photo was taken against a white fabric backdrop. I used a strobe with a zoom reflector and a purple gel aimed at the background. To the camera’s left, I positioned another strobe with a zoom reflector and barn doors, equipped with a blue gel, which cast blue-tinted shadows on her face. The key light was a large beauty dish.
