Rented a studio in Chicago but ended up on the roof because it was a beautiful day. The model’s stunning red outfit popped against the metal stairs and the sky. We used a 36×48 rectangle softbox, with my assistant holding it over my right shoulder. The tight space meant we needed a grid for better light control.
