This is a simple but effective light scheme for a brutal male portrait. In black and white or in color, it looks very effective. To create it, I used only one light source – a Godox TT685-II flash mounted on a rack. The lifting height was chosen so that the flash tilt was 45 degrees. In this case, I used a lumen photozone to soften the shadows. For a more brutal version or CB, you can use it without a photo zone. Godox X2 T radio synchronizer. I experimentally selected the flash power until I was satisfied with the result. The processing was carried out in Lightroom and Photoshop with the author’s presets.
