About the image

I made the dress, wings and crystal crown. I spend a whole month of weekends to make the wings, glueing each feature onto my base framework of fabric, one feather at a time. The wings are tied to a light stand to give the model more freedom of movement. I just love creating fantasy scenes and all the props to go with it, often spending more time on the set up than the actual taking of the image that I worked out in my mind.
