Photographing kids isn’t always about capturing the best smile, sometimes its capturing those true raw moments that parents feel and appreciate. If it’s their birthday “they can cry if they want to”. Mom and Dad were also trying to get kid to laugh. The funny thing is the only way he did was mom pretending to be sick and coughing. I swear I need to record the BTS of parents and photographers working hard to make their kids laugh. Pretty entertaining and parents love to talk about it too when they come back to see their pictures.
