About the image

The BIG RED DRESS. The venue was Fire Rock Park, Las Vegas, NV. I try to shoot there any time I am in Las Vegas. Used Natural lighting. It was impractical to use a strobe or speedlight in this environment. While it appears that this image was shot high noon it was shot around 5:20 pm with the sun directly behind me and sunlight straight on facing the model. It was also critical to shoot from a neighboring rock formation that placed the body of the model in the center, the long flowing fabric in the lower 1/3, and the sun in the upper third of the composition.
