About the image

This image was created outdoors on a cloudy afternoon as the sun was fairly low on the horizon to camera right. A reflector was used on the left for fill light. She loved the flowy material of the dress so I decided the best way to show that off was levitation (It was also a way to get some genuine smiles). She was seated on a small table, which I removed in Photoshop. I refined the selection tool in Photoshop to move her a bit higher, and I selected the flying book from a previous image and placed it in this image to add to the levitation effect.
