About the image

This bride had her engagement photos done in Miami with a fashion photographer and after moving to D.C. wanted the same style for her wedding photos. She picked the day of the cherry blossom festival for her wedding and wanted pictures on the mall. Normally I avoid the mall during tourist crowds or if i go it’s by the metro. Trying to drive there, and even to think of finding parking at different monuments seemed impossible. OK, let’s go for it. With help from the Arlington and National Park police we made it happen. This image was in Alexandria with the Potomac River behind me. Nice abstract sculpture was perfect for bridal party. Lot’s of great images from that day.
