About the image

Genre:
The main light was a StellaPro Reflex S set up as a constant light with a Medium Wide Fresnel modifier. This light was mounted on a CheetahStand and positioned slightly to the side of the couple, providing soft, directional illumination. The Fresnel helped focus the light, highlighting the couple while preventing unnecessary spill onto the surroundings. The constant light was a great choice here, as it allowed for a smooth and natural glow, complementing the fountain’s ambiance. The backlighting was handled by a Godox LuxMaster set to 1/128 power, placed behind the couple near the fountain. This light added a subtle rim light that gently outlined the couple and enhanced their separation from the background. It also brought out the texture and sparkle of the fountain’s water streams without overpowering the overall scene. Together, these lights created a perfect balance. The StellaPro highlighted the couple’s faces and attire beautifully, while the Godox added depth and drama to the composition. The result is a timeless and visually striking image that feels both natural and cinematic.
