About the image

In-studio family Portrait of the Fieser family from Plains, Kansas. This photograph was shot with a Canon 5D MarkIV at 160 ISO, 160 shutter speed and F-Stop of 8.0. The lens used was a 24-105 Canon kit lens and the backdrop was an 8×10 Weimaraner with a distressed Barnwood floor, both from Denny Manufacturing. The sofa was a faux leather sofa from Wayfair. I used 2 Westcott FJ400 strobes. One strobe had a 36 inch Westcott octabox and the was set to the right of the camera feathered slightly left of my subjects. The other FJ400 was set at a right angle and feathered slightly to the right with a 26 inch octabox from the Westcott switch line of products. The backdrop was illuminated from behind the sofa with a Westcott solix continuous light set two dials to warm.
