This image was created as part of a project tributing the Film Noir style titled “Spies, Detectives, and the Femme Fatale.” The couple was looking for a mysterious portrait of them that fit my project vision. It was shot at a small railroad station in a park in Poway, California. I used two 400-watt flash units. The key light was a 7″ reflector above and behind the couple. The primary fill was a 7′ Wescott umbrella with a full-front diffuser. A 48″ reflector was opposite the key light.
