About the image

I planned this shot at the Chicago Cultural Center and the staff had told me it gets crowded quickly so be there early. We were standing outside before the center opened. When it did open, we ran to the stairs to get this image. I laid down at the bottom of the stairs to get the extreme low angle and Morgan’s father stood near me and bit to camera right with the constant light held as high as he could lift it aiming at Morgan. I was using a StellaPro Reflex with a medium lens to get a good light spread. With security helping us for a few minutes with breaks in tourists coming by we were able to capture the image.
