About the image

This image was done for a special FX makeup company. The model was draped in red fabric on a hand painted molded brown and cream canvas. There is a gridded beauty dish on a 400 watt studio strobe (full power) on a boom high above her head and tilted about 70 degrees towards the background. Behind the model are 2 – 200 watt studio strobes (full power) with 1×3 gridded strip boxes facing towards her back. There is actually very little post in this image beyond the straightening of fabric at the foot and of course the symbol in the back.
