About the image

I wanted to have a big country music concert vibe from this shoot to go with this background of a large barn wall covered in vintage mirrors that I designed and custom made. I wanted to make sure that the rim light behind her matched the warm glow of the edison bulbs hanging in the background so I put an Godox AD200 in a 1×5 gridded strip box with Full CTO gel in each corner behind her. Then to add to the “concert” vibes for the main light I used a Godox S30 focus LED light with barn doors to get that hard light spotlight feel on her and keep the light off the background itself. I used some canned aerosol smoke to add even more concert ambiance around her as well and try to show off that spotlight.
