About the image

This image was inspired by George Hurrell’s beautiful old Hollywood images. For this shot, I used a Profoto D2 with barn doors to replicate the hard light of old Hollywood images. The light was placed above and to the right of the camera. A white reflector was placed below the model for fill and a second light was placed behind the model as a hair light and to offset her hat from the background.
