Covering moto cross race for my newspaper. Chose my location based on action and lighting. I wanted the contestent coming straight at me. Walked around the track until I found a spot where not only would I be able to catch them coming straight at me, but that the light would provide rim lighting . For most of the coverage there was neither a time nor place to use any type of light other than what the sun provided.
