About the image

When model Zoë West and I decided to work together again for the first time in 8 years, I booked the Matka Ono studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I purposely scheduled the session so we would be there at golden hour through sunset. Made entirely with natural light, I had given her a sheer pink fabric with which she played. The background is the studio wall and, through the window, the neighborhood of the studio.
