About the image

I made this portrait of my daughter when she was dressed for her gymnastics class. I happened to see her about to leave the house and posed her next to a window. This was not pre-planned, but very spontaneous. I think the soft yet crisp light on her face in combination with converting it to black-and-white resulted in this timeless portrait.
