About the image

Being that this is a natural light portrait, no special gear was used, just a white bed sheet for a background. For me the aesthetic appeal is the pine tree-created dappled sunlight, combined with the soft yet directional evening sky “light bank”, which together create a palette of light blues and oranges. This contrasts nicely to the monotone, dark clothing and facial features, with the pose and gaze adding a little extra visual allure.
