This was captured at the 2018 Indianapolis Open Dance Sport competition. Nikon D3100 f/4.5 1/125 ISO 800 +1 step Nikkor 18~105mm @ 35mm available light only. I do not shoot strobes at dance comps. I had been developing an editing style over the last couple of years and submitting them for comment with the Facebook group Reality re-imagined creatives. In dance comps the more heats (dances) the couples do the more I shoot. This comp is over 2 days. I shot over 5000 frames (22 couples) about 10% make 5 star rating. Original image was processed in lightroom. Reprocessed in DXO PL6 edited in Affinity Photo.
