About the image

Inspired by one of my favorite films, Bladerunner, which is a beautiful melding of sci-fi and film noir. I built this set in my studio using diffusion material, curtains, V Flats, a set of old blinds and a grid ceiling panel for some interesting light effects. The key light is an optical spot, focused to a narrow slit, aimed through the “window”, there is also a purple fill right next to it. A blue fill and a blue accent light come from the other side.
