As can be seen in the Behind the Scene photo, this shot took four strobes, four blue gels, one hairlight softbox, a heavy-duty plexiglass sheet, a cold fog machine, a large tent-like red netting, and a very cooperative model. The model, standing on plexiglass, is lit from the sides with strobes that have double blue gels in front, an up light strobe from the floor, and an overhead strobe down light. A cold fog machine adds atmosphere that is saturated with the blue light from the gels. Red netting surrounds the model that adds a somewhat mysterious semi-transparent effect.
