About the image

This was our last shot of the evening. The large arched window of the old bank, turned wedding venue, was totally dark as they had closed the upstairs and moved all of the guests downstairs. My wife was positioned behind the couple inside the venue with a single Profoto A1X flash unit while I stepped outside and across the street. The best response, aside from the couple’s of course, was a couple on the sidewalk who was asking what I was taking a photo of in the dark. They couldn’t even see our bride and groom in the dark window and they were stunned when I showed them the image on the back of the camera.
