This is a portrait of Mark Sweeney, of Sweeney BBQ. We did a portrait session for his branding of his business and announcement for his ambassadorship of Meat Church. We shot it in Mark’s backyard with his smokers and wood present about an hour before sunset. I liked the look of the background and stands shown and chose a wide angle to show the whole scene. Background is a Savage painted canvas, with Impact Pro stands, and Westcott HurleyPro H2Pro Weight Bags. I used one light to camera right, Profoto B1X with 3′ Octa Softbox on a Monfrotto light stand and Westcott HurleyPro H2Pro Weight Bag. Canon R6 II, with Canon 28-70 L f/2.0 with Profoto Connect Pro.
