For this challenge, I recruited my friend’s girlfriend to create a captivating “GothGlam” look. We chose White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas, as our location, specifically the historic “Bath House” structure. Its unique architecture provided the perfect backdrop, creating a striking contrast against her primarily black attire. Despite the sweltering 100-degree heat, we waited until the sun was midway down to capture the ideal lighting. Using a Godox AD100 mounted on a light stand with an Angler 28″ softbox at a high 45-degree angle, we managed to highlight her gothic elegance beautifully. This shoot was a blend of creativity and perseverance, and the result is a stunning portrayal of GothGlam against the timeless charm of the Bath House.
