Bio
Began my photographic journey more than 50 years ago as a photographer on the high school camera club, later working in a local camera store, then working as a wedding photographer for a studio. Actually had a studio of my own for a short stint prior to a military career, during which I sold off all my equipment. I got back into photography with the advent of digital cameras and spent about twenty years working with fashion designers and models. More recently I shoot landscape, nature, and other personal projects.
My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, followed by Canon F-1, Mamiya C330, Bronica digital, and then a slew of Nikon cameras: D60, D90, D600, D610, D700, D810, and finally Z7ii. My lighting has gone from Honeywell strobes, to Speedotron powerpacks, to Alien Bees, and now Godox units.
I’m a Part 107 licensed drone pilot.
