Charisa Ausfahl

I believe life is a gift. I believe that every age, every stage of life, and with all of our varying abilities has a purpose. It should be celebrated, and lived to the fullest creating your story. Life is magnificently beautiful. And it is my absolute joy to help you capture and share moments of your story for generations to come. I originally from small town Alvin, Texas- located between Houston and Galveston, and home to the great baseball pitcher Nolan Ryan. My Dad, who spent his career at Johnson Space Center, taught me to dream big and follow the Lord- even if that meant from a console in Mission Control. My Mom, who devoted herself to being on the boards of several non-profits while still homeschooling me and my two younger sisters from kindergarten through highschool, taught me a love and compassion for people. I attended Cedarville University in Ohio and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education. I married my college sweetheart Philip back in 2001. We have 5 amazing children: three are homegrown and two we adopted internationally. Regardless of how God brought each of them into our home, they are all an incredible gift we treasure.
