About the image

This was a senior shoot taken in a local forest preserve. Michael did some “traditional” shots for his mom, but wanted some more unique ones for himself, to better express his personality. We had just finished shooting and we were leaving the area when I noticed that golden, buttery sun coming in that just lit up his eyes. It was magical. The sun was behind and to my right so I placed my light to my left. Westcott FJ-400 (ISO 64)
