About the image

I love shooting with brick backgrounds; the colors and textures speak to me or some shit, but it can be a bit vanilla, ya know? So I thought this would be a good spot to bring some drama with shadows. Lea was killing her shoot with her angles, and this was her first time modeling. My kid’s friend I’ve known for years, who knew?! I was pleasantly surprised. Anyhoo, I went with more side lighting to get those shadows, using a Westcott FJ-400 without modifier, as you can see my assistant (my kid…lol) holding it in the BTS photo — I think I got the angle right in the diagram (?).
