About the image

I had a concept for a “Jester Master” and did the outfit in all black and white. I love doing black and white outfits, just something I’m drawn to, and I like the contrast and textures when converting to a black & white photo in post. I put a black netting over and around Mary’s head, had the mesh collars, lace in the gloves and wrist cuffs, it’s a texture paradise. I’ve been really into interesting profiles lately, and Mary gave me her best Jester Master quirky, strong profile as she was standing in front of a marbled wall. Westcott FJ-400 to my left.
