About the image

This was from a senior shoot. We shot at the University because of the beautiful architecture. This shot is comprised of a plate shot (one taken of just the background, no lights, no subject; see BTS) and one with the model. I also did a sky swap for interest and drama, as the sky was very flat and plain that day. I used a Westcott FJ-400, camera left facing model’s right with a MagMod 24″ octobox. Behind and below model, down the stairs and facing slightly to model’s back/left, was a bare Westcott FJ-200. I shot from a distance, laying down as low as possible on the pavement.
