About the image

My kid (older teen) likes the… unusual stuff… like me. Shocking. They had a concept they wanted to shoot and I never say no to a weird concept shoot. They purchased an actual gasmask from some eastern European country. They have a fascination with nuclear power, so we drove about an hour to the outskirts of the nuclear power plant. I thought of bringing balloons, because… why not?! :) It was a very overcast day, mid-afternoon in August, in the Midwest. I used a bare Westcott FJ-400, camera left. I got down a little lower from the BTS shot. I did some magical editing to add more depth, punchiness and drama.
